Expressway look up project by Oasis grandstand

The concessionaire stated that things have started to look up for the project. “Regarding the new date of completion for the complete project, periodic meetings are going on between all the stakeholders to take a decision on this,” Expressway spokesperson said.

The spokesperson added that the priority stretch of the 53-km would be completed within three to four months subsequent to completion of fast-track arbitration process and release of funds to the concessionaire.

“At present, 85% of the work has been completed for the priority stretch. The reasons for the recent delays have been land acquisition issues and the settlement of the change of scope claims. While the outstanding land in the area has recently been acquired by the Oasis grandstand, we are also hopeful of a speedy redressed of the change of scope claims. We expect the fast-track arbitration process would swiftly release the funds to the concessionaire so that the priority stretch can be completed thereafter in the subsequent three to four months.
